Our Team The IT Operations Analyst (Operations SWARM Analyst) will be part of the Koch Global Services IT Operations SWARM team that delivers operational support for networking, compute, storage, security, and collaboration capabilities for Koch Industries. What You Will Do • Work for a global organization, building relationships and learning about different cultures and needs across the globe. • Seize opportunities to expand existing skillset and increase knowledge, reducing learning curves for new technologies and processes • Collaborate with third-party vendors during routine deployment and outages, providing first-level troubleshooting and problem resolution. Follow defined escalation processes as needed. • Handle application job monitoring and restarts using multiple job scheduling software systems. • Document, track, and monitor platform issues, including environmental and data center access concerns. • Provide L1 and L2 network support for enterprise LAN, SD-WAN, and Wireless environments and for hosting environments. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, performance issues, and outages to ensure high availability. • Participate in a 24x7 support rotation, including weekend coverage as required. • Function as part of a small team, interacting with multiple companies, customers, and locations, often across different time zones. • Approach escalations in a professional, consistent, and persistent manner to ensure timely resolution. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) • Strong foundational knowledge of hosting or networking disciplines • Knowledge of ITIL framework, including Incident, Problem and Change Management. • Experience working with ticketing/incident management systems (ie; Service Now) • Willingness to work in a 7-day support model with rotational weekend shifts (40 hours/week). What Will Put You Ahead • Experience working with network/systems monitoring tools (ie: Logic Monitor, Grafana & Meraki) • Experience working with complex enterprise hosting and server virtualization platforms (VMware/AWS Cloud) • Experience working with Python and Ansible to automate operational tasks and improve system reliability. • Experience supporting Linux. • Experience with the administration and troubleshooting of large enterprise networks/datacenters or large managed service provider networks • Automation first mindset (Everything can be automated) At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
