Role Overview:
The eDiscovery Specialist will support legal and compliance investigations on a case-by-case basis, leveraging Microsoft 365 (M365) Purview eDiscovery tools. This role is critical for ensuring regulatory compliance, data privacy, and effective case management across mailboxes and other M365 workloads.

Key Responsibilities
• Transform Daimler Trucks legacy eDiscovery process towards a future prove state based on native Microsoft technologies
• SPOC for Legal and Compliance Business teams to address their questions and issues in handling eDiscovery data
• Support investigation units by providing timely and accurate data retrieval, adhering to agreed SLAs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of M365 eDiscovery features, limitations, and best practices, including mailbox holds, query-based holds, and delegated access permissions.
• Document and improve eDiscovery operational processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Participate in regular reviews and updates of eDiscovery workflows to align with evolving legal and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 eDiscovery (Standard and Advanced/Premium) and the Security & Compliance Center.
• Strong understanding of mailbox management, including holds, search, and export operations.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements for data retention, privacy, and eDiscovery in a global corporate environment (especially Europe and US).
• Experience supporting legal, compliance, or investigation units in a large enterprise.
• Ability to follow rigorous protocols for data handling, privacy, and chain of custody.
• Excellent international communication and documentation skills.
