Job Description

migrating PLM and engineering toolchains in wind energy or industrial manufacturing environments. They will lead the initial discovery, own the migration blueprint, direct infrastructure acceptance, personally execute the integration testing for all PLM connections, and lead the cutover weekend. They double as Programme Manager, owning all four phase gate decisions and the client relationship with the programme office. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end discovery across in-scope applications, including inventory of versions, configurations, licensing models, and integration dependencies Assess feasibility of data extraction and migration, including considerations for proprietary and complex engineering systems Develop the migration blueprint, target infrastructure specifications, and programme risk register Direct environment build activities with internal IT teams and cloud partners, and validate readiness against defined specifications Execute critical migration workstreams as required, including complex application/data migrations and license/configuration setup (e.g., Windchill PDM vault migration, Catia V5 licence server + CAD licence manager configuration, proprietary data historian rehost etc) Own key programme stage gates, including blueprint sign-off, infrastructure acceptance, integration testing, and UAT readiness Lead cutover execution, including final data synchronization, environment validation, and transition controls Maintain overall programme governance, including risk management, status reporting, and stakeholder alignment Essential Requirements — Engineering Toolchain Specific Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PDM/PLM, including vault configuration, workspace setup, and CAD integrations (e.g., CATIA via WGM) Proven experience in migrating or rehosting Dassault Systèmes CATIA V5 environments, including CAD license server setup and management Familiarity with engineering data formats (e.g., STEP, IGES, CATProduct, CATDrawing, JT) and ability to validate data integrity post-migration Solid understanding of PLM integration patterns, including PDM vault connectivity, CAD adapter configurations, and check-in/check-out workflows Ability to interpret and troubleshoot application configuration files for proprietary industrial tools, with minimal reliance on vendor documentation Desirable Exposure to Teamcenter, SAP PLM or equivalent enterprise PLM platforms Experience with Industrial OEM toolchains (SCADA data historians, condition monitoring systems) Carve-out / M&A IT separation experience
