Responsible for supporting the planning, design, and execution, of testing activities <across multiple streams or a functional stream (e.g. Gas Accounting)>. This role works closely with business and technical teams to ensure solutions meet functional, technical, and regulatory requirements through effective test design, execution, and defect management. • Analyze Requirements document, BPDs (business process definition) and other supporting documentation to understand business process and project's objectives • Work closely with functional and technical teams in defining test scenarios and writing test cases/test scripts based on requirements traceability matrix, BPDs, process flow diagrams, design and build lean specifications, etc. • Facilitate workshops with the business to review the test scenarios and test cases, updating, publishing and obtaining approval • Participating in SIT, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing, etc. and helping coordinate cross-functional testing efforts across multiple teams, vendors and business units • Assist in preparing and maintaining test data for execution • Work closely with the test manager, Defect Manager, SAP functional consultants, technical teams, and business users for test execution, defect triage, and defect resolution throughout the testing lifecycle • Working knowledge of at least 1 test management tool such as qTest or HPALM; • Hold training/knowledge sharing sessions with other Test Leads/Test Analysts for knowledge sharing Qualifications/ Typical Experience Level • 5 - 8 years in QA / software testing • SAP QA experience, preferably in the utilities space (SAP IS-U, SAP Oil and Gas) • Experience working on enterprise systems (SAP, ERP, CRM)
