The NDR Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Network Detection and Response solutions to strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture. This role involves architecting scalable detection frameworks, integrating threat intelligence, and ensuring proactive defense against advanced network-based threats.
Job Title: Network Security Architect
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect secure firewall solutions across on-premises and cloud.
Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of next-gen firewalls (NGFWs).
Define and enforce network segmentation and access control policies.
Conduct firewall rule audits and optimize configurations for performance and security.
Collaborate with SOC and incident response teams to mitigate threats.
Evaluate and integrate firewall management tools and automation platforms.
Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and firewall technologies.
Architect and implement scalable NDR solutions using platforms like Vectra AI, Darktrace, Cisco Secure Network Analytics, Cortex NDR, etc.
Integrate NDR tools with SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms.
Define detection logic, alerting thresholds, and response playbooks.
Collaborate with SOC and IR teams to investigate and remediate network-based threats.
Conduct gap analysis and optimize network telemetry sources (NetFlow, packet capture, etc.).
Lead proof-of-concept evaluations and vendor assessments.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
Experience & Qualifications:
Should have 15 to 18 years of experience in Network Security and firewalls.
Hands-on experience on Palo Alto firewalls with Panorama configuration.
Having knowledge of micro-segmentation, NAC, and NDR would be an added advantage.
Should have excellent communication skills for interacting with clients.
Good to Have:
Knowledge of Zero Trust and XDR strategies.
Preferred Certifications:
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
