Fixture Design - Creo
• Roles and Responsibilities
1. Experience in creating concept for Welding, Brazing & assembly fixtures. 2. Designing of clamps, pin units, retractable, slides and dumps units. 3. Performs basic engineering calculations to verify design integrity. 4. Selection of purchase parts for the design requirements and conduct feasibility study 5. Create 2D manufacturing drawings and Bill Of Materials. 6. Collaborate with cross functional team to achieve the deliverables. 7. Experience in conducting Technical Review with customer. 8. Must have basic knowledge on industry safety and Ergonomics standards. 9. Quality conscious and develop 100% defect free design and drawings 10. Generate continuous improvement ideas for organization efficiency.
• Required Skills
1. Proven experience in welding , Brazing or assembly fixture design 2. Knowledge on creating 2D drawings and Bill of materials 3. Hands on experience on CAD tool like Creo & Catia. 4. Experience in Teamcenter will be an added advantage 5. Sound knowledge of tolerances and materials 6. Able to read and understand GD&T drawings 7. Good knowledge of manufacturing and assembly process.
• Desired Skills:
