The R2R / General Accounting – Senior Associate acts as a process expert and key contributor within an India Shared Services / BPO environment, supporting global entities. The role owns complex close activities, accounting and reporting master data governance, fleet accounting oversight, financial reporting, and consolidation support, while ensuring compliance with GAAP / IFRS, SOX controls, and global close timelines.
This role also provides functional guidance to Associatelevel team members and acts as an escalation point for accounting issues.

Lead and execute monthend, quarterend, and yearend close activities in line with US close calendars.
Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
Review balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure timely closure of reconciling items.
Ensure accurate accounting in JDE and SAP across assigned entities.
Support flash close, forecast updates, and management review cycles.
