Responsibilities
• Lead the architectural design and deployment of comprehensive NAC solutions, including defining policies for NAC posturing, profiling, and guest access.
• Expertly configure RADIUS/TACACS+ and 802.1X protocols on enterprise-grade network infrastructure (switches, controllers, VPN gateways).
• Resolve critical, escalated NAC issues related to authentication, device provisioning, and network access failures.
• Create, tune, and optimize NAC policies to improve security posture without disrupting user experience.
• Integrate NAC systems with Active Directory (AD), SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk), EDR tools, and Patch Management systems.
• Identify non-compliant systems using NAC reports, and enforce remediation policies for vulnerable devices.
• Develop scripts (Python, PowerShell) or playbooks to automate NAC-related processes and improve incident response times.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1/L2 engineers.
