As a PKI engineer with strong consultancy skills and competences, you are part of a Scrum Team (SAFe) managing and operating our IAM PKI landscape. A landscape in transition and moving from an on-premised IAM environment towards more and more cloud based solutions. The team is owning the technical design, development and operation of PKI, cryptography and everything related to certificates. Automation is a key strategy of our IT, enhanced by self-service to provide our users a seamless experience without sacrificing security.As a PKI engineer you work closely together with the Product Owner, Scrum Master and the IAM System Architect.Job DescriptionMain responsibilities Developing current and future landscape Supporting questions from PKI users Contributing to the roadmap set out by the (Chief) Product Owner Validation and implementation of functional and non-functional requirements in agreement with business IT principles and practices Develop and configure new functionality in line with the IAM architectural principles, the company IAM strategy and the standard IAM processes Drive standardization, automation and pro-activity Actively participate in the Scrum SAFe events Coordinate and validate the realization of designed capabilitiesfunctionalities according to the specificationsRequested Skills Professional experience with PKI, certificates, OpenSSL, TLS stacks, protocols such as SCEP, EST, ACME, cryptography, knowledge of algorithms such as RSA, DSA, ECC, DH Professional experience with supporting users, handling PKI related incidents, writing concise documentation and contributing with the development of a maturing PKI landscape Experience with Active Directory, Active Directory Certificate Services, NDES, cloud technologies, symmetric algorithms such as AES are a must have, experience with and Azure AD, Azure Key Vault, CyberArk, HSMs You are familiar with and have hands-on experience with most of the products mentioned, e.g. PGPGPG, Docker, Git, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Python and RESTful APIs Experience working with Windows, Linux, networking technologies such as DNS and TCP Experience with working in an Agile environment and working DevOps, preferably with Scrum and SAFe Able to develop and implement CICD based automation Preferred experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash or Python Capable of identifying improvements in test and development processes and used technology Sound understanding of security, e.g. technologies used, best practices, and security policy frameworks

Job Description:
Primary Skills
• Design, implement, and manage next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortigate, AlgoSec).
• Administer web proxies (Forcepoint, Cisco WSA) and secure email gateways (Cisco ESA, Trellix).
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions across multiple environments (data centers, cloud, etc.).
• Develop, implement, and optimize security policies and procedures, ensuring they are properly applied and enforced.
• Optimize firewall and proxy policies to align with business requirements.
• Manage DDoS protection solutions (F5 XC, Anti-Bot, Anti-DDoS).
• Lead threat intelligence integration (Trellix NX) into security operations.
• Manage and optimize Network Access Control (NAC) using Forescout.
• Implement and maintain WAF solutions (Cloudflare, F5).
• Oversee Intrusion Prevention Systems (Fortigate, Sourcefire).
• Lead micro segmentation initiatives (Tempered Networks) to enhance zero-trust security.
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and compliance checks on network security appliances.
• Optimize firewall and proxy policies to align with business requirements.
• Provide L3 level support to troubleshoot and resolve complex network security incidents.
• Create the Standard Operating Procedure and update the knowledge database documentation whenever required
• Participate in weekly/ monthly/ customer meeting and provide activities report.
• Collaborate with IT, cloud, and application teams for secure deployments.
• Train and mentor junior engineers on network security best practices.
• Stay updated with evolving threat landscape and recommend new technologies
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR and NIST
Certificates
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA security, PCNSE or F5 equivalent.
